Sammy Homsi practices with one standard: honesty, integrity, respect, and always doing right by his client. When a case is finished, he wants to know he got everything possible out of it for the person who trusted him — he doesn’t believe in leaving anything on the table.
Sammy has always had a problem watching the little guy get taken advantage of, which is what drew him to become a plaintiff’s attorney — standing with individuals going up against insurance companies and corporations with far greater resources. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies, with minors in History and Arabic, with High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston in 2022. He is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and admitted before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Sammy represents clients in a wide range of matters, including automobile accidents, premises liability, workplace injuries, maritime and railroad accidents, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour claims. He has successfully recovered over $25 million on behalf of his clients and is committed to results-driven representation in high-stakes cases involving serious injuries and complex legal issues.
One of the most meaningful parts of Sammy’s practice is his ability to represent Arabic-speaking clients — he speaks fluent Arabic and understands the cultural nuance that comes with serving that community well. Clients often describe their relationship with him like hearing from an old family friend. Sammy is also relentless: he wants the best result he can reasonably achieve in every case, while treating clients with the compassion, patience, and respect he believes go hand-in-hand with aggressive advocacy. He has spoken with law students through the Muslim Legal Society at South Texas College of Law and at the University of Houston about his experience as a Muslim attorney.
Sammy is proud of his Syrian and Palestinian heritage and stays connected to his community through Houston-area Palestinian and Arab community organizations, including the Houston Palestinian Festival. Outside of his practice, Sammy enjoys playing soccer and basketball, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Tammam, and their family and friends.
